Bou DarghamSenior Associate
BiographyLama Bou Dargham is a Senior Associate at Quilvest Capital Partners.
Prior to joining Quilvest in 2015, Lama was a teaching assistant in the Finance department in the American University of Science and Technology in Beirut where she was responsible for mentoring MBA students and seniors in advanced finance courses.
She earned her CFA Charter in April 2019 and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Emirates.
Lama studied Mathematics in the Lebanese University in Beirut and then pursued a BSc. in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance and graduated with High Distinction and President’s award from the American University of Science and Technology in Beirut in 2015.
She is married with no kids.

Elias
DibSenior Associate
BiographyElias is a Senior Associate within the Business Development team. He joined Quilvest Capital Partners in 2020 and is based in Paris. Elias ensures, through his interactions with the Investment and Operation teams, a coverage of the various Business Development activities, which include defining the BD strategy, building marketing materials, coordinating fundraising activities and participating in consulting assignments for family offices (family governance & transition, investment strategy, etc.)
Prior to joining Quilvest Capital Partners, Elias was an MBA intern at Reach Capital, an independent fundraising and strategic advisory firm specialized in the Alternative Assets industry. He also spent 5 years at Deloitte Paris in the Risk Advisory practice working on various leading industrial clients assignments.
Elias holds an MBA from HEC Paris and an MSc in Engineering from EFREI Paris.

Edouard
du BreuilPrincipal
BiographyEdouard is a Principal at Quilvest Capital Partners. He has spent the last 14+ years working with families, family offices, business owners, and management teams on a variety of topics including mergers and acquisitions, financing, wealth creation and preservation, and family governance issues.
He currently focuses on advising top-tier families to ensure their objectives are met both in terms of assets performance and unity of their members. Select recent assignments include the monitoring of a family asset allocation strategy, the drafting and implementation of a new family governance, the facilitation of a family generational transition, the conception of initiatives designed to encourage a family unity and entrepreneurship programs, the organization and animation of multiple family shareholder assemblies.
He also serves as the Chief of Staff and CFO of the Advisory Council of a leading international family.
Prior to joining Quilvest Capital Partners, Edouard spent five years in New York, mostly at the auction house Christie’s where he was the Business Director of Private Sales for the North American region. He was in charge of the management of the Private Sales channel for the Impressionist, Post-War and other departments. He was also involved in the organization of high-end Private Sales exhibitions designed to promote the works of both renowned and promising artists.
From 2006 to 2011, Edouard worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions department of Lazard in Paris where he advised entrepreneurs and family business owners on corporate divestitures and acquisitions covering a wide range of industries including retail, food, automotive, insurance, transportation, accommodation, and industrials.
Edouard holds a MSc in Management from ESCP Europe, with a major in Finance.
He is married with three children.

HusseiniPartner

BiographyAli is a Partner, with responsibilities to develop and manage Quilvest’s investor base, and he is based out of the NY office.
Prior to joining Quilvest, Ali was Senior Vice President at Middle East Capital Group, a regional investment bank, heading the organization’s capital markets and fund raising activities.
Ali started his career in 1986 at the Saudi French Bank, the Saudi affiliate of Banque IndoSuez. Following a year in the credit department, Ali moved to the Bank’s treasury and capital market department, and became a trader in the Foreign Exchange and Forward Currencies markets. In 1988 he moved to London with Saudi International Bank, in the forward currency trading unit and then in the asset management department as an Assistant Investment Manager, focusing on commodities based companies in the Canadian and Australian equity markets. In 1994, Ali rejoined the Saudi French Bank to head its Private Banking Department, in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia.
Ali is a graduate of the George Washington University, Washington DC.

BiographySanjay is the Global Head of Investor Solutions and Capital Raising for Quilvest Capital Partners.
Based in London, Sanjay leads the firm’s global capital raising efforts. Prior to Quilvest, Sanjay was Managing Director at Investcorp, a global alternative investment firm with over $40 billion AUM, responsible for European investors, fundraising and business development.
Sanjay spent 11 years as a Partner at 3i Debt Management (the predecessor to Investcorp Credit Management) which he co-founded following the acquisition of Mizuho Investment Management from Mizuho Corporate Bank.

Grégoire
Le Blanc de ChoisayDirector
BiographyGrégoire joined Quilvest in 2007. He works on the due diligence of direct investments and private equity funds primarily in Europe. He also participates in the monitoring and reporting of QS PEP.
Prior to that, Gregoire worked in mergers and acquisitions, notably at Deloitte and Crédit Agricole where he was involved in the execution of transactions in the service industry and manufacturing sector.
He also has a previous experience in audit and financial controlling.
He graduated from La Sorbonne (MSG) and holds a master in financial engineering from ESLSCA, awarded with honors.

Philip
MarchalHead of North American Investor Solutions and Capital Raising

BiographyPhilip is Head of North America Investor Solutions and Capital Raising for Quilvest Capital Partners. Philip is responsible for managing Quilvest’s relationships with North American investors and raising capital for all of Quilvest’s investment strategies. Philip has 27 years of experience in financial services.
Prior to joining Quilvest in December 2022, Philip headed the New York office of Probitas Partners, a leading global placement agent where for a decade he was responsible for managing the firm’s relationships with limited partners in northeastern North America.
Prior to Probitas, Philip worked in New York as an investment banker for 17 years at BMO Capital Markets and JP Morgan. Philip began his career as an international trade specialist at the US Department of Commerce.
Philip has an MBA from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, an MA from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and a BA from Dartmouth College.

Serge
RafieSenior Advisor
BiographySerge is a Senior Advisor at Quilvest Private Equity and is responsible for Business Development in the Levant and M.E.N.A. regions and Turkey.
Before joining Quilvest, Serge spent over 15 years at Merrill Lynch – Bank of America in Paris acting as a Senior First Vice President, he was in charge of wealth management and fund raising in the Middle East and Turkey and was the initiator of the North African desk. Prior to that and until 1995 , Serge was a Managing Director at Banque Française de l’Orient a subsidiary of Indosuez Bank where he overviewed for more than 11 years the bank’s commercial and international trading activities in the Middle East and Africa.
Before shifting to Banking in 1984 , Serge started his career in 1980 as a Managing Partner in a private soft commodity company and acted as a Consultant for several Multinational Companies wishing to establish themselves in the Levant region.
Serge is a graduate of the American University of Beirut – Lebanon, he holds a BA in Economics and an MBA in Banking and Finance (with distinction).

Jean
ReimingerVice President
BiographyJean Reiminger is Vice President at Quilvest, responsible for developing relationships with family offices and business partners.
Prior to joining Quilvest in Paris, he worked in London advising and raising capital for high quality mid-market buyout and growth fund managers.
He started his career in Madrid at Societe Generale Asset Management where he was helping to customize portfolios of traditional and alternative investments for Spanish institutions. He then moved to New York to join the alternative investments division of Lyxor Asset Management, a fully owned subsidiary of Societe General with $160bn under management. There, he focused on helping to due diligence hedge fund managers and developing businesses with US institutions. He notably worked on large advisory mandates with Calstrs and Ontario Teachers, establishing the Lyxor brand in North America.
He then joined Chenavari Investment Managers in London, a $5bn credit alternative asset manager. He successfully launched their first UCITS long/short credit fund and raised capital for various credit investment strategies across the liquidity spectrum.
Overall, he spent most of his career between New York and London developing businesses and deep relationships with institutions, private investors and fund managers.
He is passionate about alternative investments, having worked with a broad range of asset classes from venture capital, buyout, growth, private credit to hedge funds and liquid alts. He has deep interest in early stage and disruptive companies as well as impact investing.
Jean graduated with honors from University of Paris Dauphine in 2009.

Hatem
ShihabiDirector
BiographyHatem is a Director in the Dubai office.
Prior to joining Quilvest, Hatem was a founding member of the Principal Investments division at Samba Capital in Riyadh, focusing on alternative investment opportunities including private equity and real estate. Hatem also worked on M&A, ECM, and financing advisory transactions within the Corporate Finance & Investment Banking division at Samba Capital.
Previously, Hatem initiated and managed a joint-venture investment at Tamor Trading & Contracting Company in Riyadh. He also worked on global private equity and listed equity investments and portfolio company management at Dubai International Capital in Dubai. Hatem started his career in finance at Banque Saudi Fransi in Riyadh, an affiliate of the Credit Agricole Group.
Hatem holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University.

TavakolianDirector
BiographyMarc joined Quilvest’s Business Development team in 2018. He brings 18 years of experience in developing and managing relationships with Family Offices and Institutions across Europe with a focus on the DACH region and in the conception of tailor-made investment solutions across equities, fixed income securities, commodities and currencies.
Marc started his career as an Equity Derivatives sales for listed and structured investment products for the German, Austrian and South African market at Société Générale’s Corporate and Investment Bank.
After 6 years he moved to Exane BNP Paribas to help develop a Cross Asset investment franchise in Europe with a focus on Private Banks & Family Offices and Cross Asset investment solutions as well as Alternative Investments.
In 2012, Marc returned to Société Générale to lead the Business Development efforts within Global Markets, in Germany, Austria, Switzerland as well as in the UK, focusing on two clients segments: Single Family Offices and Holding companies. Marc and the team’s role was to advise clients on bespoke Cross Asset investment solutions, share financing and strategic equity stake management.
Marc studied at San Francisco State University, University of California Berkeley and University of Cologne, Germany from which he holds an MBA in Finance. He is fluent in five languages and married with two children.

Daniel
ToledanoPrincipal, Head of Strategic Marketing
BiographyDaniel joined Quilvest Capital Partners in 2019 and is a Principal in the Business Development department. As Head of the Strategic Marketing team, Daniel works closely with the Fundraising, Investment, Operation teams on tasks covering the whole spectrum of Business Development activities, including the development and the implementation of the strategy for the BD team, the product design of new funds and customer servicing / investors relations.
Prior to joining Quilvest Capital Partners, Daniel spent two years as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group in Paris. He worked on various client assignments, covering a wide range of corporate and strategic topics (market entry, growth strategy, digital transformation, operating model, etc.), and focusing on Private Equity Due Diligences and Corporate Turnaround projects.
Daniel holds an MBA from INSEAD as well as two MSc in Engineering from the IFP-School and ESCPE Lyon.
He is married with two children.

WypuszVice President
BiographyMarta is a Vice-President in the Paris office. She is part of the Investor Relations team and also works on the due diligence of fund investments in Central Eastern Europe, Russia and Africa.
Prior to joining Quilvest in 2011, Marta completed internships with BNP Paribas in the Global Equity & Commodity Derivatives department, where she was working at the European Convertible Bonds desk, and in Carrefour Property, a Real Estate arm of Carrefour Group, where she was part of the Corporate Finance team.
Marta received M.Sc. in Management with specialization in Finance from ESCP Europe and M.Sc. in International Business from Poznan University of Economics. She is also CFA Level II candidate.

Emile
ZakhiaSenior Advisor

BiographyEmile is a Senior Advisor at Quilvest Capital Partners. Émile joined Quilvest in 2010 and was Head of Business Development and Executive Committee member until mid 2022.
Prior to joining Quilvest, Emile was the CEO of AXA Group Solutions, the subsidiary in charge of processes and IT convergence globally (750 professionals serving 25 AXA entities in 16 countries).
From 1994 to 2008, Emile was with Accenture, where he led numerous strategy and organization assignments for some of Europe’s leading Banks and Insurance Companies.
He was promoted to Partner in 2004, and was appointed Managing Director of the French Insurance Practice in 2007.
Emile sits on several Family and business Boards.
Emile is a graduate of IEP Paris (Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris). He is married with three children.
