    • Adrien
      de Boisanger

      Board Member

      BIOGRAPHY

      Adrien de Boisanger is the Chairman of Quilvest S.A. and a director of Quilvest & Partners S.A. He is the co-founder of 360 Advisory LLP, an FCA regulated buy-side advisory firm, specialising in unlisted equity transactions.

      Prior to 360 Advisory, Adrien spent over 15 years working in various Investment Banking divisions of leading Financial Institutions (RBS, Merrill Lynch and BNP Paribas), in Madrid, Paris and London.

      During the course of his career, Adrien has advised Financial Institutions and Corporate clients in structuring highly complex financial engineering structures, working in both Fixed Income and Equity divisions.

      His managerial responsibilities ranged from origination and structuring, to the execution of cross-border financial transactions.

       

      Adrien acted as Guest Teacher in Finance at the London School of Economics, where he received an award for “outstanding contribution to teaching” in 2014.

      He is the Chairman of the supervisory board of Quilvest Banque Privée, and a member of the board of International Advisory Services, the Bemberg family council.

      Adrien graduated from Paris II University (MA Company and Tax Law), and holds two post-graduate degrees from University College London (LLM), and the London School of Economics (Finance).

      Adrien de Boisanger lives in London.

      Donaldson

      Board Member

      BIOGRAPHY

      Craig Donaldson was appointed to the board in 2018 – and is chairman of the Renumeration and Nomination Committee.

      With 30 years of experience in alternative investments, including private equity, real estate, energy, forestry, private debt and other control-oriented investment strategies, his responsibilities have included investments, portfolio management, business strategy and planning, team building, management, external communications, fundraising and client service.

      Mr. Donaldson was a founding partner of HgCapital, a leading private equity firm (he retired in 2017).  Craig was a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and served on its Investment, Portfolio Review and Valuation Committees. He led the partnership’s client functions, its co-investment activities, and its business strategy and planning work. Prior to co-founding HgCapital in 2000, Craig held investment, portfolio management and client roles at Clarion Partners, UBS and PGIM. He is a graduate of Babson College.

       

      Craig maintains an active non-executive agenda involving charitable, corporate and private business activities. He is an independent director and advisor to investment firms, portfolio companies and limited partners – and devotes significant time to mentoring. He is strategic advisor to London-based Tenzing Private Equity and to a private New York and Palo Alto-based investment group and family office. He also provides project-based advice to a European alternatives business. Craig was a board member of TPC Broadband, and mentored the company’s CEO (the business was sold to private equity in June, 2020). Craig co-chairs the Investment Committee for the endowment of Babson College, where he is a trustee and a member of the board’s Executive Committee.  Craig proudly serves as mentor to a US Naval officer and former Seal Team Commander.

      BIOGRAPHY

      Christophe Evain was appointed to the board in June 2021. he is also the President of  the Audit Committee and a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee.

      Mr Evain is a highly experienced and successful investment professional, having held a number of leading positions in top European financial institutions during a career that spans more than three decades. During his twenty-year tenure at Intermediate Capital Group, he served as Group Managing Director, London, was responsible for international operations and business development, and sat on the company’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee. Following this, he assumed the dual role of CEO and CIO for seven years.

       

       

      As an active non-executive, Mr Evain continues to advise some of Europe’s top companies, most recently acting as Non-Executive at Land Securities Plc and as Chairman of Bridges Fund Management. Christophe is also an Executive Fellow at London Business School.

      Filmer-Wilson

      BIOGRAPHY

      Robin Filmer-Wilson was appointed director of the Company on June 10th, 2016. His term of office expires in the year 2022. Mr. Robin Filmer-Wilson is a founding shareholder of LABCO SAS, Europe’s largest diagnostic group, which he developed from EUR 25m in turnover to EUR 650m in turnover between 2004 to 2015, when the group was eventually sold to Cinven.

      Robin is an experienced private equity professional with a global career beginning in 1998 at Brown Brothers Harriman in New York followed by Baring Private Equity, TCR Capital and most recently, ArchiMed SAS, Europe’s leading independent healthcare private equity group where he is a Managing Partner. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Hera Capital, a SE Asian private equity group and a Director of Menalabs Cerba, a Middle Eastern diagnostic group. Robin holds a BSFS from Georgetown University and an MBA from INSEAD.

      Meffre

      BIOGRAPHY

      Alexis Meffre joined Quilvest Capital Partners in 2018 as its Executive Chairman. He heads the Executive Committee.

      Alexis has over 20 years of private equity and finance experience across Europe, the USA and the Emerging Markets.

      Prior to joining Quilvest, Alexis was a Director at ACG Capital (ex Groupama Private Equity): co-manager of the investment team and member of the investment committee. He was leading private equity fund Investments in primary and secondary opportunities, buy-out, venture capital / growth equity, debt funds / mezzanine, infrastructure and special situations. He was also actively involved in client relationship, fundraising and new products development.

       

      From 2003 to 2007, Alexis worked at Proparco (a French Development Financial Institution) where he co-founded the Private Equity team, focusing on Emerging markets (direct investments, private equity fund investments and co-investments).

      He started his career as financial analyst in Sydney with BNP PARIBAS Equities Australia and then joined GOLDMAN SACHS Global Investment Research focusing on EMEA markets in London.

      Alexis serves on the Bemberg Family Council, as well as the Boards of Quilvest SA, Quilvest Wealth Management S.A., and Quamvest S.A. (the Quilvest Group AIFM).

      Alexis is a graduate from HEC Paris (Hautes Etudes Commerciales) and IEP Paris (Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris). He is married with four children.

      Sainz De Vicuña

      Ana Sainz de Vicuña is a director of Quilvest & Partners.

      From 1984 to 2003 she worked for Merrill Lynch in Spain both in the Private Banking and Investment Banking units holding a number of different managerial positions.

      Since 2004 she has been a board member of Corporación Financiera Guadalmar, a diversified Family Office with assets in Spain and Latin America (mainly Argentina and Chile). She supervises the Financial Investments Committee as well as the investments in hospitality in Chile.

      Ana is also member of the board of Grupo Security in Chile since 2009. Grupo Security is a Holding Company owning a Bank, an Insurance Company, an Asset Manager and a Services Company. It is listed in the Santiago de Chile Stock Exchange.

      In May 2014 she joined the Board of Inmobiliaria Colonial S.A a listed holding Company who owns Real Estate in Madrid, Barcelona and Paris. She is Chairman of the Audit committee.

      In June 2015 she joined the Board of Acciona S.A, a leading firm in Infrastructure, Renewable Energies and water services. She was also asked to join the Audit Committee. Acciona is also listed in the Madrid Stock Exchange.

      In February 2017 she joined the Board of Prosegur Cash, listed in the Madrid Stock Exchange. Its main activity is Cash Transportation in Europe, Asia and South America. She is a Member of the Appointments and Remunerations Committee.

      Ana holds a BSC Honours Degree in Agricultural Economics from Reading University. She also completed the 77th session of the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School in 2002.

      Tanoira

      BIOGRAPHY

      Gonzalo Tanoira was appointed director of the Company on June 10th, 2016. Mr. Tanoira lives in Buenos Aires and is a Director of several Argentine companies. He is the president of the Board of Directors of SA San Miguel, the largest citrus producer of the southern hemisphere, with operations in Argentina, Uruguay and South Africa.

      He is also Finance Director of Patagonia Gold, a mining company traded on the LSE with operations in the South of Argentina. He is director of Central Puerto, one of the largest energy generation companies in Argentina and of Grupo Peñaflor, a wine company.

      He has recently been appointed by the new Argentine government as director in its national airliner, Aerolineas Argentinas.

      In the past, Mr. Tanoira has worked in investment banking in New York as an analyst for Bear Stearns & Co, and in consulting as an Associate for Booz Allen & Hamilton in its offices in Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Santiago de Chile.

      He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Belgrano University (Buenos Aires) and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

      He is a member of YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and part of the business council of ESE, at the University of Los Andes (Chile)

      Benton is a Partner, co-Head of the Private Debt team at Quilvest Capital Partners, based in New York. Benton is responsible for credit focused products at Quilvest and has over 20 years of private equity experience. He is a member of  the Executive Committee and registered officer of Quilvest Securities (US Broker Dealer).

      Prior to joining Quilvest in 2012, Benton was a Managing Director at Prospect Capital, a New York based Business Development Company (BDC) with approximately $2 billion in assets. While at Prospect, Benton was a member of Investment Committee and was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and closing senior debt, junior debt, and equity investments.

      Before joining Prospect, Benton was a Managing Director at Allied Capital, a leading BDC with over $4 billion in assets. Benton led Allied’s private finance group in New York with responsibility for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and executing investments.

      Prior to Allied Capital, Benton was an Associate with Morgan Stanley in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group where he focused on M&A and public equity and debt offerings.

      Benton earned a BA in history from Dartmouth College and an MBA from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. Benton is married with three children.

      Barry joined Quilvest Capital Partners in 2010 as one of the initial members of the real estate investment team. He is a Partner in the New York Office and Global co-Head of Quilvest’s real estate investment activities, where he is responsible for executing direct real estate investments, managing the existing portfolio, and pursuing strategic initiatives. Barry is a registered officer of Quilvest Securities (US Broker Dealer).

      Prior to joining Quilvest, Barry was a member of the investment team in DLJ/Credit Suisse’s Real Estate Private  Equity  Group  since  2001,  where  he  was responsible for acquiring and managing a diversified portfolio of opportunistic real estate investments for their discretionary funds.

      Barry graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, with degrees in finance and accounting.

      Barry is married, with four children.

      Mani is a Partner at Quilvest Private Equity and Head of Funds & Co-Investments globally. He joined Quilvest in New York in 2005 and opened Quilvest’s Hong Kong office in 2010. He is a member of the Executive Committee.

      While at Quilvest, Mani developed the Asia and emerging market private equity programs and currently oversees Fund & Co-Investments globally, with a particular focus on Asia and the United States. Mani initially joined Quilvest in NY as a member of the direct investment team focused on lead and co-investments primarily in the United States.

      Prior to joining Quilvest, Mani worked at Alvarez & Marsal, a prominent crisis management and restructuring advisory firm, where he worked with creditors and distressed companies in various operational and financial turnaround situations.

      Prior to A&M, Mani worked as the Director of Finance and Strategic Planning for a data center and data communications provider in the Northeastern United States.  Mani started his career in the Media & Communications and International investment banking practices of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, both in New York and Hong Kong.

      Thomas started his career in the Mergers and Acquisitions department of Lazard Frères, first in New York and then in London. While at Lazard, Thomas worked on buy-side, sell-side, and restructuring transactions in the US, Latin America, and Europe.

      Thomas is a graduate of ESCP (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris) and holds a Master in Industrial Organization from La Sorbonne, awarded with honours.

      Carlos Héneiné is Senior Executive Officer of Quilvest Dubai, which handles co-investor relationships with regional family offices and institutions. He is the co-founder of Quilvest Private Equity in Emerging Markets and a Senior Advisor to Quilvest Private Equity, serving on the Investment Committee of Quilvest Global Funds and EM Co-investments.

      Carlos started his career at British Aerospace (now BAE Systems) and after his MBA embarked on a 10 year stint in Consulting at Booz Allen and Hamilton (now Booz Inc) and Mercer Management (now Oliver Wyman).

      He shifted to the financial sector in 1999 when he joined Banque Saradar as Head of Strategy before assuming his functions at Quilvest in 2005.

      Carlos holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelors degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College of Science and Technology at London University. He is an Advisory board member or board observer on a number of Quilvest’s funds and co-investments. In addition Carlos is on the Latin Council of EMPEA, the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association. He is married with twin daughters.

      Finley is a Partner in New York focused on sourcing and closing private equity fund and co-investments in North America. He is a registered officer of Quilvest Securities (US Broker Dealer).

      Prior to joining Quilvest, Finley was a Vice President at GE Equity, the $2.5 billion private equity arm of GE Capital.  Finley was responsible for all aspects of the investment process including the sourcing and execution of new investments.  Finley also managed a $500 million direct and co-investment portfolio.  Additionally, Finley was a member of Energy Technology Ventures, a joint-venture between GE, NRG Energy and ConocoPhillips focused on investing in next generation technologies within the energy space.

      Before re-joining GE, Finley was a Senior Associate at Loughlin Management Partners, a middle-market restructuring advisor.  Within his role, Finley managed and contributed to the execution of corporate restructurings in a variety of industries including TMT, Industrials and Consumer Products.

      Finley has also held various corporate finance advisory roles at GE Capital, KPMG and Deutsche Bank.

      Finley received an MBA from The Johnson School at Cornell University and a BBA from Pace University.  He is a CPA licensed in the State of New York and is a CFA charterholder.

      Le Ruyet

      Based out of our London office, Jean-François is a Partner of Quilvest Private Equity within the Funds and Co-investments team with a focus on Europe. Jean-François is a member of the Development Markets and Emerging Markets Investment Committees. He also sits on the Advisory Board of various PE funds.

      Prior to joining Quilvest, Jean-François gained seven years of management and strategic consulting experience as a Senior Associate Consultant with Bain & Company and a Junior Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company.

      At McKinsey, Jean-François worked with several European private equity funds in various industries, in particular the media and consumer goods sectors. His assignments included strategic and market due diligence, and merger and acquisition valuations. Prior to his consulting career, Jean-François worked for two years as an Analyst at Société Générale in São Paulo, Brazil.

      Jean-François is a graduate of HEC (Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales) and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.

      Catherine joined Quilvest in Hong Kong in 2010. She is a Partner leading the Private Equity Funds & Co-Investments team in Asia.

      Prior to joining Quilvest, Catherine spent several years at HarbourVest Partners (Asia) in Hong Kong, most recently as a Vice President.  She focused on primary partnership investments across Asia Pacific and committed over $150 million in capital to managers across developed and emerging Asia. In addition, she took a lead role in strategic and portfolio construction planning for the region.

      Prior to that, Catherine worked as a Consultant at Bain & Company in its Hong Kong, New York, and Boston offices.  She advised clients on strategic and operational issues, including a number of projects with private equity managers and their portfolio companies.

      Catherine holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Brown University with concentrations in Computer Science and Business Economics.

      George Varughese is a member of the investment committee of the GEO PEP S.C.A., the fund investment program of Quilvest. He is a  Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal in New York and CEO of A&M Securities. He leads A&M’s  Corporate Finance practice and provides advice on merger and acquisitions, financing and restructurings and has more than 30 years of experience in providing advice on a variety of financial transactions in several industries. He is also the Chairman of the firm’s opinion committee.

      Before joining A&M, he was managing director with DLJ and later Credit Suisse where he was a partner in the Merchant Banking group.

      George earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and an MBA from Stanford University. He has served as a Professor of Finance at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of Birch Family services and the Vellore Foundation.

      Henrik Falktoft is a Partner of Quilvest Private Equity. He joined Quilvest USA in 2007, responsible for sourcing, negotiating and closing private equity investments in the U.S., including growth equity investments, recapitalizations and buyouts. Since 2012 Henrik has responsible for credit focused products at Quilvest.

      He has four decades of international business experience and has held senior positions in private equity, investment banking and general management. He started his career in 1976 with A.P. Moller-Maersk, first in his native Denmark and then in Taiwan, Tokyo and New York in marketing and sales for Maersk Line’s shipping routes.

      After earning his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1987, Henrik joined Morgan Stanley in New York, where he worked on M&A, corporate finance and capital markets transactions, including a four-month stint in London.

      Henrik joined ZS Fund L.P., a New York private equity firm, as a partner in 1990. During his tenure, the firm made successful lead investments in a number of companies across a range of industries. He served as a director for public and private companies and was responsible for acquisitions and several highly profitable assets sales.

      Henrik next worked with Deutsche Bank in Tokyo, building a new private equity group for the bank and later in acquiring distressed mortgage portfolios. He was responsible for a number of strategic corporate initiatives, including a partnership with Mitsui Bank in investment banking and the formation of an Asian venture capital fund.

      He lives with his wife and daughter in New York City.

      Loeïz is a Partner in Quilvest’s direct investment team. He works on the due diligence of direct buyout investments in Europe. Since joining Quilvest in 2006, he has served on the Board of Directors of a number of portfolio companies including Sogetrel, EDH, and Tortilla.

      Before joining Quilvest in 2006, Loeïz spent 2 years with the Boston Consulting Group in Paris and Barcelona.

      Loeïz is a graduate of HEC (Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales), and was awarded an MBA from Harvard Business School. He also holds a masters in French corporate law.

      Larry Neubauer joined Quilvest in 2006 as a Partner based in New York.  Larry focuses on making direct private equity investments in the United States.

      Larry has more than 15 years of experience on Wall Street as an investor, attorney and banker.  In his career on Wall Street, he has participated in over 30 buyouts transactions consisting of billions of dollars of capital.  From 2005 until joining Quilvest, he was at Centre Partners, a $1.2 billion private investment firm with a middle market focus.  Prior to joining Centre Partners, Larry was the founding member of Malakand Capital.  Quilvest and Malakand Capital partnered on their investment in Command Alkon, where Larry functions as the lead director.  From 1998 through 2002, Larry was at SG Capital Partners, a $450 million middle market private equity fund focused on growth and leveraged buyout investments.

      During his tenure at SG Capital Partners, Larry served on the board of directors of several portfolio companies.

      His previous professional experience includes positions at White & Case, Bankers Trust Company (in the LBO and Energy Groups), the U.S. Department of Commerce and The White House.

      At Quilvest, Larry serves on the Board of Directors of both Creative Extruded Products (manufacturer of extruded plastic products primarily serving the automotive segment) and Crown Health Care Laundry Service (outsourced provider of linen services).

      In addition to corporate boards, Larry serves as co-chair of the New York metro region for Aspire (the capital campaign of Princeton University), the National Annual Giving Committee and Development Leadership Council of Princeton University, the Board of Governors of the American Jewish Committee, the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of Congregation Habonim and the Board of Directors of the READ Foundation.

      Thomas is a Partner based in Paris. He co-heads Quilvest’s direct investment team and he is a member of  the Executive Committee.

      Since joining Quilvest in 2005, Thomas has participated in numerous private equity investments in France and in Europe, and has served on the Board of Directors of a number of portfolio companies including Acrotec, Vanksen, Sogetrel, Eudonet, EDH and Phaidon.

      Thomas started his career in the Mergers and Acquisitions department of Lazard Frères, first in New York and then in London. While at Lazard, Thomas worked on buy-side, sell-side, and restructuring transactions in the US, Latin America, and Europe.

      Thomas is a graduate of ESCP (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris) and holds a Master in Industrial Organization from La Sorbonne, awarded with honours.

      Guy joined Quilvest in 2014 as a CEO of Quilvest & Partners. In 2018, Guy transitioned out of this previous role to become Senior Partner focused on the PE direct investments business. Guy has over 30 years of private equity experience across Europe, the USA and Emerging Markets. He has sourced and completed more than 50 private equity investments during his career in private equity.

      Prior to joining Quilvest, Guy was a member of 3i Group Management Committee, Managing Partner of Growth equity investments, Managing Partner of Developing Markets, Chairman and Managing Partner of France and Managing Director of Benelux.

      Before joining 3i Group in 1987, Guy worked at Eli Lilly and for a family owned business.

      Michael Foster is a Senior Advisor and member of the Investment Committee for Quilvest Real Estate since 2010.

      Mike has over 35 years of real estate investing experience in over 13 countries around the world. He spent 15 years at Morgan Stanley where he was the Global Head of Asset Management and the CEO of Morgan Stanley Properties for all of the Morgan Stanley family of real estate funds (MSREF), responsible for over $90BN of assets under management, over 200 in-house professionals and over 50 different third-party operating partners in 13 countries throughout the world.

      Since retiring from Morgan Stanley in April 2008, Mike has provided consulting services on a variety of real estate projects to clients in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Turkey, and the U.S.

      Specifically, the major projects include building asset management companies in Spain, France and Germany, turning around a broken office development in Turkey, and liquidating the remaining asset portfolio in Europe for a major investment bank.

      He has also served as Senior Advisor to several PE Real Estate Firms such as GreenOak Real Estate, FREO Group, and most currently DEA Capital Real Estate France and Situs.

      Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he worked in the Goldman Sachs Whitehall Funds in their Asset Management Group, was Director of Corporate Real Estate at TIE/Communications and prior to that was Vice President of Operations at Citibank.

      Mike holds an MBA from Bryant College and a BA from Holy Cross College. He holds the IREM designation of CPM. He is also a retired Captain in the U.S. Naval Reserves.

      Barry joined Quilvest Capital Partners in 2010 as one of the initial members of the real estate investment team. He is a Partner in the New York Office and Global co-Head of Quilvest’s real estate investment activities, where he is responsible for executing direct real estate investments, managing the existing portfolio, and pursuing strategic initiatives. Barry is a registered officer of Quilvest Securities (US Broker Dealer).

      Prior to joining Quilvest, Barry was a member of the investment team in DLJ/Credit Suisse’s Real Estate Private  Equity  Group  since  2001,  where  he  was responsible for acquiring and managing a diversified portfolio of opportunistic real estate investments for their discretionary funds.

      Barry graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, with degrees in finance and accounting.

      David has been a Senior Adviser to Quilvest Real Estate since 2009 and sits on the Investment Committee.  He is a professional strategic adviser focused principally on UK and international real estate. He is on the boards of both listed and unlisted companies in the UK and overseas, including as chairman of Custodian REIT PLC and ICG-Longbow (the real estate division of Intermediate Capital Group plc), a non-executive director of GCP Student Living plc and a director of two Indian property funds. He has previously been chairman of NR Nordic and Russia Properties and of South African Property Opportunities.

      David qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1978 and had over 25 years’ experience as a fund manager, including as managing director of Aberdeen Asset Management’s € 8bn property fund business, before he set up his consultancy in 2005. He is a past president of the British Property Federation and was actively involved in the introduction of REITs to the UK. He is Honorary Swedish Consul to Glasgow and an Honorary Professor of real estate at Heriot-Watt University.

      BIOGRAPHY

      Michael has over 27 years of experience in real estate private equity, having worked in Europe, Asia and the U.S, and is the Global co-Head of Quilvest’s real estate investment activities, where he is responsible for executing direct real estate investments, managing the existing portfolio, and pursuing strategic initiatives.

      He helped initiate the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds in Europe, working out of London and NYC. He was then a founding partner of Soros Real Estate (later Grove International Partners). He built up the firm’s business in Asia which held 7 investment platforms with close to $2.0bn equity invested in commercial real estate, non-performing loans, hospitality, healthcare and retail. Michael was a member of the global investment committee and co chaired the firm’s partnership committee and fund management unit.  Michael currently serves at the board of the Hellenic Public Properties Co., the manager and developer of the real estate assets of the Greek State.

       

       

      He received a BS in Management from the London School of Economics. He speaks English, French and Greek.

      Marc is a Senior Partner and Real Estate Advisor to the Executive Chairman of Quilvest Private Equity. He established and led Quilvest Real Estate until December 2018.

      Before joining Quilvest in February 2008, Marc was for more than 7 years Alliance Hospitality Group CEO. A group of companies which owned and managed Goldman Sachs key hotel portfolios in France, Belgium and Italy (80 hotels +/10.000 rooms over the period), sold to Blackstone in October 2007.

      Prior to that, Marc enjoyed more than 20 years of direct experience in Real Estate development. As CEO of several private investment funds owned by banks or/and high net worth individuals, he led the concept development and construction of two up market multi-component resorts and smaller redevelopment projects representing 180.000sqm of new built floor area.

      He also developed and sold before construction Mariott first fractional ownership resort in Europe. In addition, over the same period, Marc had the opportunity to audit, re-engineer or redevelop a dozen mixed-use developments, significantly changing the course of events.

      On the hospitality front, he restructured, renovated and managed two hotel portfolios (other than Goldman Sachs’) which included independent luxury hotels and mid-market branded properties.

      Overall, Marc has directly managed the bulk sale, or, divestment process of clusters of assets representing transactions between US$ 50 Million and US$ 1Billion, totalling US$ 1,7Billion.

      Before shifting to Real Estate, he started his career as a Marketing Planner and then Client Servicing Director. For 6 years, he covered the MEA region advising international clients including: Gillette, Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, British American Tobacco, Rowntree MacKintosh, Toyota Cars, Singapore Airlines.

      Marc holds a H.N.D. in Marketing from the College for the Distributive Trades (London) and an MBA from INSEAD. He is married with two children.

      Benton is a Partner, co-Head of the Private Debt team at Quilvest Capital Partners, based in New York. Benton is responsible for credit focused products at Quilvest and has over 20 years of private equity experience. He is a member of  the Executive Committee and registered officer of Quilvest Securities (US Broker Dealer).

      Prior to joining Quilvest in 2012, Benton was a Managing Director at Prospect Capital, a New York based Business Development Company (BDC) with approximately $2 billion in assets. While at Prospect, Benton was a member of Investment Committee and was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and closing senior debt, junior debt, and equity investments.

      Before joining Prospect, Benton was a Managing Director at Allied Capital, a leading BDC with over $4 billion in assets. Benton led Allied’s private finance group in New York with responsibility for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and executing investments.

      Prior to Allied Capital, Benton was an Associate with Morgan Stanley in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group where he focused on M&A and public equity and debt offerings.

      Henrik Falktoft is a Partner of Quilvest Private Equity. He joined Quilvest USA in 2007, responsible for sourcing, negotiating and closing private equity investments in the U.S., including growth equity investments, recapitalizations and buyouts. Since 2012 Henrik has responsible for credit focused products at Quilvest.

      He has four decades of international business experience and has held senior positions in private equity, investment banking and general management. He started his career in 1976 with A.P. Moller-Maersk, first in his native Denmark and then in Taiwan, Tokyo and New York in marketing and sales for Maersk Line’s shipping routes.
