Prior to Quilvest’s investment, the building consisted of an office tower on the upper floors and a single tenant retail/office condominium on the lower six floors, each with different owners. The partnership consolidated ownership by recapitalizing the office component and acquiring (and foreclosing on) the non-performing loan secured by the lower portion, and subsequently repositioned the building to attract a diverse mix of technology, financial services, and non-profit tenants.
